What are the Shiny Things?

   The 'Shiny Things' are a library of small applications that perform simple but valuable and time-saving tasks. They are designed to be quick to download, fast to learn and easy to use.

   Most of the Shiny Things evolve from Push-A-Button's own testing methods, or are in-house utilities designed to make our lives simpler - then we shine them up and pass them on to you as effective little applications to help you.

   Currently, all of the Shiny Things are free. There may be some more advanced Shiny Things produced in the future, but for the moment, you can download and use them to your hearts content.

X-Enabler is designed for users of the RealMagic X-Card. This program allows you to turn your X-Card on and off from the Notification Area (next to the clock at the bottom of the screen).

Startup Manager is a simple program to help you control the programs and services that start up with Windows. It also monitors your startup to tell you when new programs are starting up, and helps you remove redundant or unsafe software by making helpful suggestions.

Investigator helps you check for piracy on your PC by checking for commonly downloaded files, and the file-sharing programs that allow you to get them. It can also help you track down the CD images you may have forgotten on your hard drive.
